This bill limits emergency government contracts to 30 days. An additional 30 days is given if it involves a natural disaster. Additional transparency requirements are included.

Libertas supports this bill. While state government may need to move quickly in an emergency, these types of contracts should be short-lived and subject to close oversight of the Legislature.
