This bill removed redundant regulations for mobile businesses such as mobile barber shops, mobile cell phone repair, pet grooming, and more so that they only have to obtain one business license in the entire state, instead of each city in which they operate.
This bill passed both chambers unanimously. Libertas supports a "yea" vote.
- HB32: Health Care Worker Protection Amendments (2022)
This bill unnecessarily increased the criminal penalty for those who commit or threaten violence against any employee of a health facility, including janitors, secretaries, etc.
This bill passed the House 56-16 and passed the Senate unanimously. Libertas supports a "nay" vote.
