This acquisition is a powerful next step in our mission to support the family as the most important unit in society. Why Family Brand Fits Our Mission
Libertas Network believes that strong families are the foundation of a free society. When families are intentional about their identity, values, and culture, children grow up confident and capable. When families drift, the broader culture fills the gap by default. Family Brand has spent years helping families to unite around their own vision and design the family culture they actually want.
Founded by Chris and Melissa Smith, Family Brand was born out of their own marriage. The Smiths realized that no one was offering parents a real blueprint for families to establish a meaningful identity, as companies do when establishing their brand. They have since helped hundreds of families around the world to create their own Family Brand. With this acquisition, we’re doubling down on our conviction that the work of building a free society starts at the dinner table, not in legislation or curricula. Family Brand’s proven framework perfectly complements our broader effort to equip families to raise critically thinking children outside the conveyor belt of conventional schooling and culture.
How We’ll Grow and Expand Family Brand
In acquiring Family Brand, we are focused on taking it to the next level. Over the next few years, we have ambitious plans to support its growth and expansion in ways that will amplify impact:
- Scaling the Program: We’ll focus on growing the number of families enrolled in Family Brand Foundations (the core curriculum) each year, expanding cohorts, and exploring ways families can plug in so more parents have access to the blueprint.
- Enhancing the Curriculum: While the Foundations program is already powerful, we’re exploring ways to strengthen it with new and improved content, additional tracks, deeper integration with our work at Libertas Network, and tools that make it easier to live out your Family Brand in everyday life.
- Expanding the Platform: Family Brand has built an incredible set of products that meet parents where they are. We’ll invest in expanding access to these, and explore other products and verticals to both enhance the existing Family Brand product portfolio and to serve new customer segments.
This is just the beginning. With Libertas Network’s resources and vision, Family Brand will evolve into an even more powerful engine for cultural renewal, proving that strong families happen by design. Chris and Melissa aren’t going anywhere; they’ll continue to play an active role — and together, we’re excited to reach more families than ever before.
