Marketing Manager (New Project)

The Libertas Network is an award-winning association of family-facing initiatives that change hearts, minds, and laws to create a freer future. We’re known primarily for three major programs: our innovative policy reforms that have changed over 100 laws to increase freedom; our Tuttle Twins children’s books that have sold over six million copies and have been turned into a hit cartoon series; and our Children’s Entrepreneur Market project helping kids age 5-17 launch a (very!) small business, with 28,000 youth entrepreneurs served in 2024.

We are now launching a project to help young adults secure gainful employment and develop their own businesses—all without a college degree. This will be an entrepreneurial approach to higher education reform, giving participants direct entry into professional success without wasting time, money, and subjecting themselves to woke indoctrination.

We are now hiring a Marketing Manager to help develop and expand this program and fill the funnel with ambitious young adults. This position is full-time and remote.

You will:

  • Work with a talented and dedicated team of entrepreneurial career-builders
  • Help ambitious and talented young adults discover exciting alternatives to college
  • Enjoy the freedom to build and lead our growth efforts as we scale
  • Participate in our professional development community alongside program alumni

You will be responsible for:

  • Rapid experimentation across new and existing channels to drive growth and maintain or improve conversion rates.
  • Owning all lead-generation efforts, identifying what currently is and is not working + how to improve.
  • Website performance and website CTAs, with resources at your disposal to outsource design, UI/IX improvements, SEO, and content.
  • Optimizing all landing pages, lead nurture funnels, and offers for our partners and affiliates.
  • Managing paid acquisition channels, including ad strategy and ad creation.
  • Optimizing conversion rates across channels, and at different stages of the funnel.
  • Ownership of marketing automation and email marketing. (We use Hubspot as our primary MAP)
  • Assembling and training a world-class marketing team

Our ideal candidate:

A full-stack marketer’s skillset with a top-performing account exec’s desire to beat targets.

  • You’ve been the first growth or marketing hire on a team. You’ve been a jack-of-all trades marketer at an early-stage company, run your own freelance shop, or have a strong background in performance / growth marketing.
  • You’ve led or played a critical function on a marketing team that has scaled from $1MM to $10MM in revenue during your tenure.
  • You like to ask questions, and design experiments to answer them with data.
  • When it comes to launching new marketing experiments, you’d prefer to ask forgiveness than permission.
  • You’re reliable and take pride in your work.
  • You’re comfortable working remotely.
  • You understand systems, and appreciate the value of them but would prefer to solve a problem first before over-engineering a solution.
  • You’ve hired, managed, and trained a team.

You will enjoy:

  • Competitive salary
  • Matching 403b retirement plan
  • Healthcare Reimbursement
  • Unlimited time off with a vacation benefit match program
  • Flexible schedule
  • Weekly meal stipend
  • Making a difference with an organization that is materially improving people’s lives

60 days

  • You’ve developed a marketing plan for the next 18-24 months, and already launched and reviewed the performance of your first handful of growth experiments

  • You’ve achieved several more small wins, and have a clear plan of attack to address larger opportunities

90 days

  • You are executing the marketing plan and driving significant impact across the entire funnel.
  • You, along with the marketing team, are orchestrating dozens of growth experiments simultaneously and rapidly iterating to implement your learnings
  • You have assembled the team you need over the next 12-18 months to hit growth milestones, and they are learning quickly
  • You have mastered the language of marketing and selling our products and services, and could effectively sell our program to a stranger on the street

6 months

  • You have created a streamlined feedback loop with the sales and admissions teams to refine messaging, improve lead quality, and optimize the enrollment process
  • You have increased lead volume by 50%

  • You have launched multiple new, successful initiatives that contributed significantly to overall pipeline growth
