Director of Corporate Partnerships
The Children’s Entrepreneur Market is on the lookout for a driven, sales-oriented individual to spearhead our efforts in securing corporate sponsorships to expand our program. Our initiative empowers and inspires young entrepreneurs across the country, and this role is crucial in expanding our reach to serve hundreds of thousands of children every year.
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in fundraising or sales with a demonstrated success in corporate sponsorship acquisition and relationship management. This is a full-time, virtual role with occasional travel up to 10%.
Performance Expectations
- Identifying and securing corporate sponsorships (national and local) for our youth entrepreneurship program
- Engaging in cold calling and emailing to build new relationships and create a portfolio from scratch for this new sponsorship initiative
- Implementing effective sales strategies to meet and exceed sponsorship targets
- Managing and updating Hubspot CRM with all relevant data and communications with prospects and sponsors
- Providing regular updates to leadership on progress and pipeline
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in fundraising or sales with demonstrated success in sponsorship acquisition and relationship management
- Exceptional phone skills and the ability to communicate persuasively and personably
- A proven track record in sales, with an ability to handle rejection and persist in pursuit of goals
- A passion for youth entrepreneurship and a belief in its power to shape the future
- A clear record demonstrating your persistence/proactivity and use of systems or processes to appropriately follow up and follow through
- A warm personality and desire to genuinely connect with and serve our sponsors
- Flexible/adaptable/efficient
- Experience using Hubspot and/or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is a plus
- Ability to travel approximately 10%

Expectations
90 days:
- Achieve mastery of Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Understand all aspects of the Children’s Entrepreneur Program: history, growth roadmap, impact, vision, etc.
- Develop a robust pipeline of potential sponsors and initiate contact with key decision-makers
- Secure 5 meetings with national sponsor prospects
6 months:
- Secure three new national sponsors ($150k) and ten local sponsors ($10k each)
- Have made many failed asks and learned from each one
1 year:
- Secure four additional national sponsors and fifteen additional local sponsors
- Recruit and train a local sponsorship manager to focus on building out additional in-state sponsors for new market locations
