Joshua has a background in small business as an entrepreneur and business development consultant. He founded four businesses across three industries and has nurtured startups as well as stagnant firms. He studied political science and economics at the University of Michigan where he participated in the Michigan in Washington Program. Previously he worked at the American Legislative Exchange Council, engaging private-sector companies and legislators in order to educate and develop innovative model legislation. He currently resides in Annandale, VA.
