David is a State Government Affairs Associate at Libertas. He was born and raised in Orem, Utah. He studied economics at Utah Valley University and Loyola University New Orleans, the latter being under the direction of libertarian economist Dr. Walter Block.
David also has a passion for helping others and has done work as a translator for a humanitarian group assisting with children shelters in Mexico. After completing the Libertas Leadership Academy, he worked as an intern for the Institute during the 2022 legislative session. In his free time, David can be found reading, writing, drumming, skateboarding, and podcasting.
